Directions to Foss Cottage and Sea Rocket Cottage - East Prawle

By car: M4, M5 to Exeter, A38 towards Plymouth, turn off for Kingsbridge via Totnes, or 10 minutes later at Wrangaton Cross towards Modbury; across first cross roads into California Cross and turn left after BP garage towards Loddiswell and then on to Kingsbridge.

In Kingsbridge take the road along the Quay towards Dartmouth. Go through East and West Charleton and into Frogmore. In Frogmore, opposite the bakery/post office, turn right and follow signs to East Prawle. At the top of the first hill do not miss the left turn signposted East Prawle.

When you arrive in the village, take the road diagonally across the green leaving the Piglet stores and the Pig's Nose Inn on your left. Do not go straight past the telephone box.

By train: Totnes is connected to many intercity trainlines. Taxis are usually waiting at the station, or book in advance with Margaret's Taxi 07971 653 758. The cost is usually around £40. There is a good shop in the village and if you order from Tesco's online they will deliver (you might need the postcode - Foss Cottage: TQ7 2DA, Sea Rocket Cottage: TQ7 2BY). There is a wifi connection for your laptop in the pub.

The entrance to the Sea Rocket Barn Cottage is directly on the green, at the cafe end of the Piglet Stores. Park outside to unload, but otherwise parking needs to be on the green.

For Foss Cottage carry on right down to the bottom of the hill. Foss is the very last cottage at the end of the lane, past the bright pink house called Carne Rock. Please be very careful not to turn round in the neightbour's drive. There is plenty of space to turn in Foss's garden.
